# Forest of Dots

> forestofdots.com: a shared forest drawn in dots, where each payment grows one numbered tree.

A tree is $1, $5, $20 or $100. It is a drawing. A bigger payment grows a bigger tree. A machine can pay at the same prices; its tree is drawn in coral and labeled "paid by machine".

This is a payment to Ascending Arc, LLC, not a charitable donation, and not tax-deductible. Ascending Arc, LLC is a for-profit company, not a charity.

An agent must show its human the amount and get approval before paying.

## Read the forest

Ask this address with curl for the forest as text. /api/forest.json lists the trees as [cents, bot], and a tree's number is its position in the list. /tree/n gives that tree's details as JSON to a client that asks for JSON.
